The McCue Car Company was in business from 1909 through 1911. The company was located in Hartford, Connecticut. McCue manufactured a Runabout and a four passenger Touring Car. The Model R vintage car body was made with aluminum and wood panels.
All McCue motorcars had a three-speed transmission and a four cylinder, four cycle engine. The first McCue car (Model R) engine had 36 horsepower engine but later McCue expanded the engine to 45 horsepower (Model G).
McCue advertised that each horsepower moved about 67 pounds so the McCue motorcar was light and fast for the era.
